Do I need to register before I host a Big Night In?

Yes you should register or you can also call us on 020 3116 2735 to register as a host.

What if I register and end up not being able to host a party?

If you register and then have to pull out, don't worry. You don't have any obligations to us following registration.

How many people should I invite?

You can have an event that is as big or as small as you like. You can just have your family or a few good mates round or you can organise a big party – you choose. No Big Night In too small; no Big Night In too large as long as your home is big enough!

How much do I have to raise?

Every penny counts so if all your guests donated just 50p that would be great. Of course, the more you raise, the better it is for the charitable projects PiggyBankKids supports.

What is the best way to raise money?

You can do this in lots of ways. You could set a rate for your guests to donate and let them know on your invitation. Or you could just tell guests that you are looking for donations – just have in mind an amount that you think is manageable for your guests. Or you can leave a jar or box on a table and tell guests to put their donations in it during the course of the evening.

Can my guests make their donations in cash?

Yes, your guests can give you cash donations but don't forget to ask them to fill in a Gift Aid form so that their donation is increased by 25%.  You can download this from the website.  At the end of the night you can raise a cheque for the cash or contact us and we can send you a paying in slip to pay directly into the bank.

Can my guests make their donations by cheque?

Yes, cheques should be made payable to ‘PiggyBankKids'.  Make sure they also fill in a Gift Aid form you will increase the donations by 25%.  These froms are available from our website.

Can my guests make their donations by credit card?

Yes, but your guest will need to log onto the PiggyBankKids website, and click on the ‘Donate’ section and follow the instructions for making a donation by credit card. They can also donate specifically to your event if you decide to build a Big Night In fundraising page - please call us on 020 3116 2734 for more details.

How do I enter the prize draw?

When you host a Big Night In and send in your donations you will automatically be entered into our prize draw for your chance to one of our amazing prizes.

Is there a minimum amount I should raise from a 'Big Night In'?

No, we value all contributions to PiggyBankKids and the money all adds up together to help fund valuable work.

Is my Big Night In covered by PiggyBankKids’ insurance?

PiggyBankKids is not able to accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury from your Big Night In event.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

All Hosts of a Big Night In will receive a letter of thanks from PiggyBankKids confirming the donation received.
